Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a form of hands-on healing and manipulation of the body’s soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, ligaments, and connective tissues. It is a therapeutic technique that aims to promote overall well-being, relaxation, and the relief of various physical and mental ailments.
During a massage therapy session, a trained massage therapist uses their hands, fingers, elbows, forearms, or specialized tools to apply pressure, knead, and manipulate the muscles and tissues of the body. The pressure and techniques used may vary depending on the individual’s needs and the specific goals of the session.
Each massage therapy session will be tailored to your specific need. A variety of modalities may be used in a session such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, myoskeletal alignment techniques (MAT), vagas stimulation, red light therapy, kinesiology, and clearing the energy centers (chakras).
Massage therapy can provide a wide range of benefits, including stress reduction, pain relief, improved blood circulation, increased flexibility, enhanced immune function, and reduced muscle tension and soreness. It is often used to alleviate conditions such as back pain, neck pain, headaches, anxiety, and sports-related injuries, among others.
