Advanced Massage and Colon Hydrotherapy

What is Colon Hydrotherapy?

A detoxifying process of the Colon that involves using water to flush waste out of the large intestine. Colonic irrigation involves inserting a thin tube called a speculum into the rectum to flush water in and out of the colon. Also known as Colonic irrigation this procedure, when administered by a trained professional, can have long-lasting health benefits.

What happens during the procedure?

Preparation for the colonic begins by changing into a clean gown so that your practitioner may have access to your posterior. The practitioner will then have you lie on your back in a comfortable position so that they can discuss the details of your Colonic with you. Once the procedure begins, a thin tube called a speculum is inserted into the rectum. The colon is gently filled with water by a pressure-controlled machine. The water is flushed out repeatedly allowing waste, toxins, and debris to be released. The entire procedure usually takes around 45 minutes.

My personal experience:

I suffer from IBS. Irritable Bowel Syndrome can be extremely difficult to deal with for many people. After strenuous research on how to deal with my issue, I decided to get a Colonic was the way to go, for me. I had been suffering from weeks of constipation when I finally took the leap.

To my surprise, getting a colonic was fairly easy, and not anywhere near as uncomfortable as I had originally thought it would be. My practitioner Cheryl S. Was extremely professional. She made me feel relaxed and calm. The insertion of the speculum was a part of the procedure I was particularly nervous about, which turned out to be the quickest part. I was completely unbothered by it and all the fuss I had made in my ahead about it was swept away. I experienced mild cramping due to not having had normal bowel movements in recent weeks. Beyond the mild cramping, I did not experience any discomfort at all. It was overall, a calm and relaxed experience.

The Results

My practitioner was extremely thorough in explaining post-colonic care to me. This involved reloading good bacteria into my body via probiotics. I was diligent with my healing efforts in the days following. I consumed anti-inflammatory foods, prebiotics, and probiotics along with high-fiber fruits and vegetables. I avoided all refined sugar, simple carbohydrates, and processed foods completely.

I am so pleased I made the choice to try Colon Hydrotherapy. My digestion has most certainly improved, I have energy and my bowel movements are now very regular. I would recommend this procedure to anyone who may be suffering from inflammation, irregular bowel movements, and digestion problems.

I plan to visit Advanced Massage and Colon Hydrotherapy every 3 weeks for the next few months to ensure long-lasting digestive health.
